
Bio
Terri Lane is a blues rock recording artist from Connecticut whose background in music covers live performances, touring, recording, engineering, producing, and songwriting. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in music magna cum laude from Southern CT State University and just completed her Master of Arts in Music and Music Education from Columbia University. She has 18 years of classical training, 10 years of musical theater experience, and 39 years of experience as a recording artist. With a powerful four octave vocal range, Terri has appeared on over 70 CDs for various artists over the years as a lead and background vocalist, aside from writing and recording her own music.
On a more personal note, Terri is a survivor of terrible child abuse and hopes to be a voice of strength to all who are victims of abuse, neglect or bullying. Music has been her guiding light, and she hopes her voice will inspire others to heal their pain.
Aside from being a recording artist, she has been an adjunct music professor at a private university in Connecticut for the past ten years.
